KENDRICK LAMAR WINS BEST RAP SONG, RAP PERFORMANCE AND VIDEO FOR “HUMBLE” AT 2018 GRAMMY AWARDS

Up for seven nominations at the 2018 Grammys Awards tonight (Jan. 28), Kendrick Lamar has already won two awards before the show starts and now takes home his third after winning Best Rap Song.
K. Dot's hit song "Humble." beat out Danger Mouse's "Chase Me," "Rapsody's "Sassy," JAY-Z's "The Story of O.J." and Cardi B's smash hit, "Bodak Yellow," for Best Rap Song. The award becomes the DAMN. rapper's third Best Rap Song award following his wins in 2015 and 2016.
Along with his Best Rap Song win tonight, Kendrick's "Humble." has also landed the awards for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video. Following those wins, now the West Coast lyricist will also be competing for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Album.
Kendrick is also set to perform at tonight's show. It's uncertain which song or songs the rapper will perform, but with U2 being added to tonight's schedule, there could be a chance the two collaborate again and play their song "XXX."
In related Kendrick news, the MC will be hitting the road in May with his Top Dawg Entertainment labelmates for theChampion Tour. Kicking off on May 4 in Vancouver, B.C, the trek will make stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta and more before wrapping up on June 16 in Pittsburgh, Pa.
