Kevin Gates, who released the popular album “Islah” last year (2016), which was supported by hit song “2 Phones”, is back with a new single entitled “What If”. You may have heard that Kevin Gates is currently in prison and despite almost being released, a newfound warrant allowed the authorities to keep him in prison (Albeit a new prison given the new warrant) until a further court date. However, somehow he was able to record a new song, and today that new song was released
Gates already had a show scheduled after his release from a Polk County jail. The Islah emcee was put behind bars for kicking a fan at a show in the Sunshine State in 2015. TMZ reports gates was not extradited to Illinois but rather turned himself in. He had less than 24 hours of freedom in between
